常用動詞及詞組有：

alter（使）改變，改動（常指某一細節的變動，或指間斷性的，階梯式的變化

be in (constant) flux處在不斷變化中

change （使）改變，（使）變化（最通用，最不正式；可表示任何演變過程）

convert轉變，變換；改裝（常用來表示功能的轉變，或把一種東西變成另一種）

fluctuate 變動，波動

metamorphose（常用來表示有機體的形式或結構的變化）

 modify更改，修改，變更；改裝（改變某物，某過程或某形狀以用于特定的目的，常指不大的變化）

 range from … to…（數量）在……之間變動

transform改變，轉變，使變態（用得很廣，但主要指外形上的或突發的變化）

transmute（使）變形，（使）變質（指物質內部的基本變化，將一種元素轉變成另一種）

undergo changes經受（發生）變化

 vary改變；變更；修改；變化；不同（用得很廣，可指性質，形狀，數量的變化可不同，常指不斷的變化）

 vary from… to… / between … and … / with…在……之間變動（變化）
