限制條件擴展
每個快速耦合接頭類別/類型都必須是合格的。
本P.S.的管理/監督部門應對直徑的限制擴展進行評估,引導類型或連接系統的變更。

連接
快速耦合接頭在安裝時,無須操作人員添加潤滑劑。
O型環可以由供應商提前潤滑。在此情況下,資格認定階段和修訂階段的潤滑油規格必須呈報給E&D -材料工程部,還包括最大使用量。
雄頭部件的非正確插入(例如:非共軸的)應不會導致O型環的損壞或是雄頭部件自身的損壞,也不會在重復的常規操作后影響其密封效果。
備注:任何有關汽車/馬達現場連接工具的使用,無論是自動的或是半自動的或是手動的,都必須提前得到管材/組成部件/安裝組件的供應商授權,因為快速耦合接頭是要安裝其上的。

使用情況概括
耦合接頭的使用周期與汽車的相同:15年或300,000千米。
空氣油液蒸汽溫度可以從-40℃至140℃不等(運行30分鐘達到峰值150℃),然而馬達艙內部的溫度可以從-40℃至115℃不等(峰值為130℃)。
在汽車使用壽命過程中,連接和斷開的次數應最多不超過50次。

存儲情況
固定耦合接頭是可以存儲的,并不對他們的特點/性能造成損害,在倉庫存儲的一年中,最高溫度應范圍是40+2℃,且最低溫度范圍是-20+2℃,相對濕度范圍是50%至70%
固定耦合接頭的最大連續承受溫度為85℃,時長為兩個月的最小連續承受溫度為-30℃(處于船/集裝箱內)。固定耦合接頭必須能夠在相對濕度為90%,溫度為40+2℃的情況下保存2個月,同時不會對其特征/性能造成損害。

•P.S.版本的雄頭耦合幾何學突出部分;
•按照P.S.9.14618規定的O型環的材料和尺寸,和/或符合供應商規范,且E&D-材料工程部驗收合格的密封元件。
•所有耦合元件材料(包括任何可再循環使用的材料)

產品質量要求
將材料送交,按照以下段落中的規定進行檢查和測試。確保測試結構符合附件“規格數據表”中的數值/限制值。

視覺檢驗
2.2.1
塑料件
塑料件必須無開裂、無凹痕、無折斷、無切痕,或尖銳部分、無毛刺、無剝離,無雜質或任何其影響到美觀,操作及安裝的缺陷。耦合區域不應露出管材,不應有偏差及為完成的情況等。這些都會影響零部件的密封。
2.2.2
金屬件
金屬件必須無開裂、無凹痕、無內部及外部氧化,無切痕或尖銳部分,這些都會影響到安裝時的操作程序。
2.3
尺寸及公差

無潛在有害材料及加工過程
符合P.S.9.01102的要求(菲亞特S.p.A的供應質量)。
2.5
標記
2.5.1
每個元件都必須以清晰且不易擦拭的方式標記,具體區域見圖紙:
•供應商的文字數字編碼(符合標準07610);
•制造日期(符合標準0.00013);
•材料再循環商標,如有必要(符合標準07416);
•其他圖紙要求的標記。
2.6
材料
符合圖紙及指示,如有需要,提供O型環潤滑劑類型。
2.7
表面覆蓋物
與圖紙保持一致。
2.8
供貨狀態
根據具體的需求,指派的部門必須與供應商就耦合接頭的供應問題提出最佳方案并達成協議。
2.9
工作特性
備注:除特殊情況以外,只要與雄元件有關的,用塑料/鋁制的實物模型都必須進行測試,其尺寸都必須符合圖紙規定。
2.9.1
泄漏測試
為了進行以下測試,所使用雄部件的內徑必須達到公差的最大值限度,而且環的直徑應處于最小值。全部的測試都必須在O型環安裝完畢的情況下進行。無O型環的測試是不允許的。

Qualification extension
Each fast coupling family/typology has to be qualified.
The Managing/Supervising Dept.s of this P.S. shall evaluate any qualification extensions for diameter,
heading typology or connecting system changes.
1.6
Connection
Fast couplings do NOT need lubrication by the operator during installation.
O-Rings can be pre-lubricated by the Supplier. In this case, during the qualification phase and in case
of modification, the lubricant specification has to be sent to E.&.D. – Materials Engineering, indicating
also the maximum quantity used.
The insertion, also incorrect (e.g. not co-axial) of the male component shall not cause damages to the
O-Rings or to the male component itself, affecting its sealing after repeating the operation correctly.
Note: Any tools for the vehicle/motor online connection, either automatic or semiautomatic or manual,
have to be previously authorized by the Supplier of the pipe / component /assembly, on which
the rapid coupling is installed.
1.7
Mission profile
The life duration of the coupling is the same as the vehicle one: 15 years or 300,000 Km.
The air-oil vapors liquid temperature may vary from -40 to 140°C (150°C peak for max. 30 min), while
the temperature inside the motor compartment can range from -40 to 115°C (130°C peak).
The number of connections and disconnections during the vehicle life can be 50 at the most.
1.8
Storage
It must be possible to keep fast couplings, with no damage to their characteristics/performances, for
one year in a warehouse where the maximum temperature is 40 ± 2°C and the minimum temperature
is –20 ± 2°C, with relative humidity ranging from 50 to 70%.
Fast couplings must be able to bear a maximum continuous temperature of 85°C and a minimum
continuous temperature of -30°C for two months (handling in ship/container). They must be able to
bear their stay for two months in an environment with relative humidity of 90% and temperature of 40 ±
2°C with no damaging of their characteristics/performances.

Drawing callout
The following prescriptions shall be indicated on the finished product drawing:
? the number of this Procurement Specification;
? the dimensions of key characteristics as per archetype drawing
? the male coupling geometry highlighting the edition of this P.S.;
? the material and the dimensions of the O-rings as per P.S. 9.14618 and/or of the sealing
component according to Supplier's Specification accepted by E.&.D. – Materials Engineering;
? the material of all coupling components (including any indications about the possibility of
recycling the material)

PRODUCT QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Subject the components to the checks and tests specified in the paragraphs below. Make sure test
results comply with the values/limits prescribed on the annexed type-specific "Specifications Data
Sheet".
2.1
Test Environment (if not otherwise specified)
Temperature: 23 ± 41.00°F
Atmospheric pressure: 860 to 1060 mbar
Relative humidity: 45 to 70 %
2.2
Visual inspection
2.2.1
Plastic parts
The parts must be free from splits, dents, breaks, cutting or pointed parts, burrs, stripes, sucks, or any
other defect that can compromise aesthetics, operation and installation.
The coupling zone shall not show piping, deflections, incompleteness, etc., which might affect the part
sealing.
2.2.2
Metallic parts
Parts must be free from splits, dents, inner and outer oxidations, cutting or pointed parts, which might
affect the part good operation during installation.
2.3
Dimensions and tolerances
Compliance with the specific drawing.

Absence of potentially noxious materials or processes
As per P.S. 9.01102 (Quality of supplies of Fiat Auto S.p.A.).
2.5
Marking
2.5.1
Each component shall bear in a clear and indelible manner, in the area indicated on the drawing:
? the alphanumeric code of the Supplier (as per Standard 07610);
? the manufacturing date (as per Standard 0.00013);
? the material recycling trademark, if any (according to standard 07416);
? other indications required on drawing.
2.6
Materials
Compliance to the drawing and indication, if provided, of the O-ring lubricant type.
2.7
Surface coverings
Compliance with drawing.
2.8
Supply status
The appointed departments shall agree with Suppliers in order to find the best solution for the supply
of couplings, according to the specific needs.
2.9
SERVICE CHARACTERISTICS
Note: except for special cases, all tests shall be carried out using, as far as the male component is
concerned, special mock-ups made of plastic/aluminum, whose dimensions comply with the
specific drawing.
2.9.1
Leak test
For the following tests, the inside diameter of male components used shall be at the max. limit of
tolerance and the ring diameter shall be at the min. limit of tolerance. All tests shall be carried out with
all O-rings installed. Tests without O-rings are not acceptable.

At room temperature

Connect the female coupling to the male one, inserting it until it stops.

Connect the male or the female coupling to the compressed air line.
2.9.1.1.3
Plug the other end of the fast coupling with a special tool.

Immerse the assembly totally inside the tank with water at a temperature of 23 ± 2°C.

Pressurize, by inputting air and stabilize for 5 minutes at 300 kPa pressure.

Check the tightness of the coupling during the test.

At low temperature
2.9.1.2.1
Immerse the assembly mentioned in § 2.9.1.1 totally inside the tank with a water and glycol mixture
(50-50).
2.9.1.2.2
Set temperature to –30 ± 2°C.
2.9.1.2.3
Stabilize with the above mentioned conditions for about 2 hrs.
2.9.1.2.4
Pressurize, by inputting air and stabilize for 5 minutes at 250 kPa pressure (2.5 relative bars).

Check the tightness of the coupling during the test.

At high temperature
2.9.1.3.1
Immerse the assembly mentioned in § 2.9.1.1 totally inside the tank with oil at a temperature of 140 ±
2°C.
2.9.1.3.2
Stabilize with the above mentioned conditions for about 2 hrs.
2.9.1.3.3
Pressurize, by inputting air and stabilize for 5 minutes at 250 kPa pressure.
2.9.1.3.4
Check the tightness of the coupling during the test.
